I was so pleasantly surprised by the fit, quality, and style of these pants. I went back and forth on sizing and I'm glad I went with the XL (5'10", 185lbs, athletic bum/thighs). These pants are so flattering, and don't stretch out with wear making them unflattering. And bless the adjustable waist straps! Finally pants that fit perfectly depsite a smaller waist and bigger bum! Just ordered them in Forest and now I'm crossing my fingers you make them in black or darker grey ;)
I'm 4'11", 110lbs, 25 inch waist, and athletic build. I ordered these pants in size small since x-small was out of stock. Initially, size small was a tad too loose around the waist, butt, and thigh area. After adjusting the waist band and running the pants through the washer (cold) and dryer (low temperature), they now fit perfectly! (Attached photos show how the pants fit after running through washer and dryer). I absolutely love these pants and love having so many pockets!
As soon as I tried on this pair i bought a 2nd! Great fit. Comfortable. Lightweight.
I love them! I ordered a medium as I’m normally 4-6 but they are a bit loose and I will likely exchange them for a small since they are still loose in the waist area even with the straps tightened down all the way :( I am 5’6” 127lbs
Just for reference here is my sizing: normally I’m either a 4 or 6 or a medium in shorts or pants. I’m 5’11" and weight about 150 give or take. I’d say I’m a fairly average build. I don’t have a curvy body at all.
I read reviews and noticed most people saying to size up which is what I did. I normally get medium when buying short or pants and the occasional skirt or dress. And when looking at the sizing chart I decided that my normal choice of medium would be a bit too small. I took into consideration that a large would have the awesome built in option of cinching down the waist with the webbing around both sides of the waist band. So I bought the large. It just came in today and initially it felt huge. But the waist felt just right. The crotch snd butt area felt super baggy but the waist felt great; not too big not too small. Then I noticed the legs also felt baggier than I normally like. After walking around my apartment a few times and looking in the mirror I decided I made a mistake of buying a size too big for my body. But just for good measure I stuck them in the washer to see how they’d fit after. To my surprise they fit much better after going through the washer and dryer. The waist is still a good size and the legs, crotch, snd butt area aren’t that big anymore. I’m still left wondering if the medium would’ve been the better choice for me and I think I’ll end up buying the medium in a few days just to test my thoughts that they’d fit better. Anyways, sizing is a bit funky and it was a bit difficult to determine what size would be best for me.
The pants are awesome overall. I like the design and location of the pockets. I think the built in webbing in the waist band is fantastic. They fit under my climbing harness quite well. I hope the fabric is strong enough to not tear. I’ll be testing out the durability on my City of Rocks climbing trip coming up in… T-10 hours. The only piece of feedback i have is that I wish the front top pockets were slightly angled for optimum hand insertion. I like letting my hands chill inside those cozy hand holes.
